Most of my life has been dedicated to music. I developed my passion and appreciation for music through church choir, acapella performances for family and friends, and even creating a family band. I have managed to keep this passion alive with my connection to the musical community. I have been fortunate enough to be involved with promotions, production, performing, creating, and even putting together a few shows on my own.  I began this organization to do something incredible with a group of friends that share two common interests, seeing live music and helping others. I believe that there is nothing better than to give back. CKC United was started to bring people together to raise funds and awareness for various causes, while also bringing a core group of friends together to create something that is totally boundless.

Music has always been a part of my life thanks to my mother’s love of classical, opera, jazz and blues and my father’s love of rock, folk & blue grass.  These vast musical differences have made it possible for me to love, understand, and enjoy all aspects of the musical universe.  Had it not been for my interest and appreciation in live music I never would have met the fine people of CKC United.  I consider them dear friends and my extended family.  It was through this group that we came up with a simple idea to give back to the community, by way of what makes us the happiest: music!  I am passionate and driven to make this organization the best that it can be by raising awareness and sense of value to all walks of life; the only catch…have an open mind and an open ear.

My interest in music began when I first started playing the drums. I have been into music since a young age; which ensured my everlasting love and appreciation for this art-form. In recent years, a great community of friends and music lovers alike connected and became the CKC. Together we created CKC United, to be involved in something that is bigger than all of us. This has been a dream of mine since childhood, and it has blossomed in my adult life. I am  proud to have been able to start a business, and have it be related to the music community that I cherish so dearly.

I have spent much of my life furthering my career and education. In 2008, I obtained my Master's of Social Work from the University of Maryland.  I have always been passionate about working with people, intending to have a positive impact on others. I have a huge appreciation for music, and I have traveled near and far to see my favorite bands. Music has always been an outlet for me. I am privileged to have met so many talented and creative people. Some of these amazing people, including myself, took what started as a small idea and dreamed big. Together we are working to create a unique organization that gives back to the communities that have treated us so well.

I graduated from Montclair State University in December 2009 with both a bachelor’s degree in Classics/Humanities and a certification in Elementary Education. A love of electronic music facilitated friendships and an amazing opportunity to bond and work with members of CKC. It is my aspiration to recreate a sense of humanitarianism and virtue in both the classroom and community. I will do so by teaching my students to be tolerant and caring, and on a larger scale, raising awareness and compassion in the community. I hope to combine my knowledge and devotion to help others throughout my journey as a CKC United member.

My love of live music was solidified at a young age when my mother brought me to my first concert: Earth, Wind and Fire. Ever since then I have been a fan and follower of many bands, but have always primarily loved the unique experience that live music conveys both in the moment, as well as throughout ones life. I became interested in CKC United because this organization is built on the idea that the incredible power of live music to bring people together can be harnessed and translated into tangible support for a good cause. I am excited to help CKCU grow and continue finding new ways to give back to the community.

Music has always been important in my life. What I have experienced in and around music has been a guiding force. I am glad that it has brought our group together, and given us a chance to give something back. CKC United was created by people who wanted to make a difference by using music to make our world a better place to live. We aim to produce really fun and successful events that bring artists and friends together to rally for a good cause. Our supporters and fans make it all possible. It is exciting to be involved with this organization because together we can accomplish some of our biggest dreams. I am proud to have helped found this organization, and I cannot wait to see what the future will bring!
