We have hosted our first official event, The Marshall Thompson Pig Roast. It was held on October 10, 2009 and headed by Brian Johnston, our Director of Promotions. Brian worked tirelessly with the help of volunteers and members to make this event a total success.

Food was prepared by Aaron Hinson with help from volunteers Brian Walsh, Matthew Felice and friends. They put a culinary spin on a classic home cooked barbecue that left nothing to be desired.

Dave Dickerson and Bily Graumann ran the sound board, making eight hours of phenomenal music possible. Acts included DAMN RIGHT!, Beam and Deam (Featuring Tommy Bradel), Segway, Sonkin, and Sonic Spank.

CKC United wants to extend a special thanks to everyone, friends and family, for joining us at this memorable event. We plan to do it again next year, bigger and better!
